PEACOCK ADORNS GEN Z WITH ECLECTIC STREET WEAR

Falguni Shane Peacock presented a gender-fluid salute to the distinctiveness of street style at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI in conjunction with TRESemmé. Falguni Shane Peacock, the designer duo has looked deep into how hair styling can be crucial to the runway story within the context of an easy, street luxury collection. TRESemmé unveiled their new Bond Plex Range.

The designer pushed the boundaries of style and demeanor with new shapes, motifs to surface decorations, chic street-style. A refined experience that paralleled the drama of fashion, praising street fashion for the funky nuances, and guaranteed each outfit is a tale in and of itself.

Actor Kiara Advani was the showstopper for the Falguni Shane Peacock show, and Kiara Advani’s magnificent figure-hugging, strapless, corseted in sheer midnight black and golden tones embellished floor-length gown, decorated with crystals, sequins, and beads, served merely to confirm the transformational, even theatrical, power of matching hair style with the proper sort of clothes, amplified her gorgeous aura, a corset-like construction with an edgy neckline, walked down the ramp with amazing flair and confidence, leaving the crowd speechless. Her strong makeup and lengthy bubble braid gave just the proper amount of drama to her overall look.

The duo designers highlighted about the collection, which is inspired by “the rising wave of modern street-culture.”

“As a brand, Falguni Shane Peacock has always pushed boundaries in the creative space. True to its DNA of being young and edgy—the brand has always been inspired by art. This collection will present the best of street-meets-demi couture. The tailoring is an impression of sexiness and energy, combined with a new kind of chic coherence. Some looks have taken a step up with the logos and clunky oversized shapes. The intent of the collection and the newfound street-couture definition is to express a sense of freedom, and an attitude of positivity and joy,” the designers described the collection.

The duo further commented: “The aesthetic seamlessly combines street-meets-luxe, presenting an understated yet chic and statement-making vibe. The details are sharp, and the pieces maintain a clean, non-fussy appearance. The colour palette includes midnight black, royal blue, dazzling silvers, glamorous golden hues, and scarlet reds, creating an aesthetic tailored for Gen Z.”

Our brand’s designs have developed and forayed into street luxury, embracing a younger style and the Gen Z attitude.  As street style grows in popularity throughout the world, our business has positioned itself to appeal to the fashion preferences of the younger generation.

Further added, this collection is a young interpretation and avant-garde combination inspired by the mainstream, designed for both the Peacock Girl and Peacock Boy. It incorporates many standout components from the main prêt range that are flawlessly blended into an understated, stylish street-style design. This collection also has a strong emphasis on hair, and we collaborated with TRESemmé to create contemporary styles.

The collection mixed holiday attire with streetwear, with glittery bodycon dresses, blouses, trousers, and jackets. The collection was designed with the Peacock Girl and Peacock Boy in mind, however the majority of the items are genderless. Fabric innovation is restricted in this edit, with a noteworthy emphasis on playing with our monogram.

The luxury designer label is most known for wearing Hollywood A-listers and has been the preferred option for Bollywood celebs for coveted public engagements such as award events, movie premieres, and so on.
